When you’re designing your course, you should decide if you want to give your learners Free access to all the course elements from the start or whether to add Restrictions and only allow them to access the subsequent element if they’ve successfully completed the current one.

You can set the course navigation by following these steps:

1. Click on the Courses tab.

2. Search for the course you want to edit or find it in the list.

3. If you’re using a touchscreen device, click the course’s thumbnail or if you’re using a computer, hover the cursor over it.

4. Click Edit course.

5. Click the Settings tab.

6. In the Navigation and Rules panel, click the Course navigation dropdown and select an option.

7. Click Save changes.

The course navigation option has now been changed.
